REMARKS

The Royal palm is a stately palm from Florida and closely related to the Cuban Royal palm (R. regia). It is difficult to tell them apart. The palm becomes huge is a matter of a few years and will dwarf your home unless you have a two ar three story house. Its leaves will almost always be blown to one side of the trunk, which makes it less attractive. Use only in large areas or in the next to tall buildings. And of course as much as possible out of the wind.
