Bambusa malingensis 'Seabreeze'

Most Bambo species come from Asian, tropical rainforest and thus from humid climates, with a lot of rainfall. The Bambusa malingensis 'Seabreeze' is doing reasonably well on Curaçao, provided it is out of the wind and gets good quality water. In the wind it will get dry leaf tips. It is a 'clumping bamboo' variety, grows quickly.
