Bismarckia palm of Bismarkia palm

The Bismarckia palm (named after the German emperor Otto von Bismarck) is originally from Madagascar. a very large palm with a trunk diameter of 30 to 45 cm. Can grow to about 20 m high. The crown (head of leaves) becomes over 7 m wide and almost 6 m high. So plant at a good distance from buildings. 

The palm must be irrigated regularly, it can withstand the wind. The color of the leaves varies from gray / green to pure silver. The palm is sensitive to moving from one location to another.
