Caesalpinia gilliesii ookwel Desert Bird of Paradise

Caesalpinia gilliesii comes from Uruguay and Argentina. It can withstand wind and drought well. It has a variety of colorful flowers and the branches have thorns. Seads (pea family) come in dark brown pods. The leaves have a blue-gray haze.
