Caryota mitis or Fishtail palm

The clustering Caryota mitis palm asks for a humid invironment. That is why it does not like our strong dry wind. It can grow up to 10 meters (30 + ft) with leaves as long as 3 meters (10 ft). Plant them behind a (high) building and irrigate daily. The palm does not like brackish water.
