Cordyline fructicosa of 'Red Sister'

The Coryline 'Red sister' is native to south-east Asian countries. A tropical rainforest plant so it likes moisture and a humid environment. Does fairly well here, as an indoor plant but also in a shady, wind free spot in the garden. It needs good quality water. Brackish well water will cause dry brown points to the leaves. Cut long stems of and the plant will sprout at the cut of spot. Ideal to bring color in the garden or on the porch.
