Ernodea littoralis or Beach Creeper
Ernodea littoralis or Beach Creeper originatesfro Florida to Central America and the Caribbean islands. It can grow up to 90 cm (35in) in its natural invironment. In gardens landscaped by us they grow much more as low-growing ground covers. They make long thin red branches with succulent-like leaves. Its flowers are pink/white and the round fruits are yellow/orange. It tolorates salty conditions well and prefers to grow in sandy soils. Low maintenance and so far no disseases and pests noticed.
