Chamaerops humilis or European Fan Palm

The Chamaerops humilis grows multiple trunks and is a slow grower. Despite the fact that it can withstand the southern European winters this palm does well in Curaçao.

The palm can grow up to 2-3 meters (6.5-10ft), with a trunk diameter of 20 cm (8 inches) and therefore its good to use in private gardens aswell.

It needs irrigation regularly. Withstands wind well.
